如发包点 Ru Fa Bao Dian at Holland Drive

OCTOBER 4, 2023

Recommended by EatBook.sg. The orh nee or yam paste bao and curry chicken bao were very interesting. The orh nee was really rich, fragrant and smooth, and the curry chicken was savoury and spicy with serious chicken chunks inside providing good texture. Both baos boasted fluffy and soft skin. Really nice baos.

Abundance – Taiwanese Beef Fried Rice & Gua Bao at Redhill

AUGUST 13, 2021

Recommended by 8 Days. The Niu Yolk fried rice came with a very nice truffle oil fragrance. The rice itself was moist, fragrant, and tasty with eggy and beef fat flavours. The onsen egg was cooked perfectly; the yellow yolk added a nice creamy flavour and texture to the rice. The sous vide beef short rib slices was beefy, smoky, tender and just slightly fatty. A very nice plate.

Came back again for the gua bao on 23 Dec 2021. The gua bao was really good. The mantou was really soft and pillowy, and there were great flavour and textural contrasts, from the soft and savoury pork belly, the sweet and crunchy peanuts, the sour and crisp preserved vegetables, and the fragrant coriander.
