Tony Cafe – Chicken Wing Rice at City Hall

This was the famed limited edition Tony Cafe fried chicken rice, only available on Mon, Wed and Sat. Tony Cafe was essentially like a chai png stall. The chicken rice was a bit dry and only slightly fragrant, but went down well with the soft, moist and savoury cabbage. The chicken wing was minimally marinated, but had a tender and moist interior, paired with thick, crispy and light batter. Refreshing. The fried meatball was something I quite liked – minced meat with various other ingredients, well marinated and savoury, and fried to a deep brown crunch.
