Eat 3 Bowls – Taiwanese at Pasir Panjang

JANUARY 18, 2021

And this was their cute railway themed cafe in the west. A whole bunch of things like mee sua were already sold out at 3pm, so I tried the two things that best represented Taiwan food in my mind.

The Lu Rou Fan or braised pork rice was really quite good, generous and 不手软 with the fatty pork, so much so that the whole bowl was moist and full of pork lard fragrance, flavourful of solid braising sauce, and went down super easily and quickly. The Taiwanese sausage was also nice, bouncy, sweet and flavourful, going well with the garlic slices.

This was also surely full of 台湾味.
