Jing Ji Fishball Noodle – Nolstagic Fishball Noodles at Upper Thomson

They were only opened four days in a week, and only in the morning. After a twenty minute queue, they were out of mee kia and fishballs. But what I had was really nice as well.

The mee pok was cooked very well – springy and qq without the usual starchy aftertaste. The sauce had a nice ketchup base – very old school and nostalgic, as well as tasty and fragrant with the pork lard.

The meat ball was really a fish meat ball – it had a very good flavour and slight springiness, together with a nice uneven handmade texture. Everything else, including the her giao and fishcake were standard.
