Old Airport Road Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee at Balestier

Located at the tau sar piah end of Balestier Road, near Thomson Road. Very full and deep flavours, with a solid sticky braising sauce and vinegar, garlic and chilli coming together to make a symphony with the soft flat yellow noodles. I have always liked the flavour of Xin Mei Xiang. I just feel that the accompanying ingredients of shredded fish and diced pork is a bit unsubstantial. Note to myself – ask them to hold the coriander and tau gay next time.
