Li Yuan Mee Pok – Minced Pork Noodles at Commonwealth Drive

Good Japanese flavour with the shoyu, unlike the miso which was more subtle and not so easily identified. The noodles were cooked well and springy, and all the various toppings – Japanese charshu, sliced pork, minced pork, pork balls, deep fried lard and mock abalone – were tender and fresh. This tasted more like Japanese-style mee pok than the miso, and was more distinctive and special. I like.
