Ming Fa Duck Rice at Hainanese Village Hougang Avenue 1

Recommended by Johor Kaki, a popular stall with a constant ten-plus person queue which moved quite fast. The braising sauce was very tasty, having a non-herbal deep soy sauce flavour with a slight sweetness and five spice and duck aroma.
The duck was sliced thick, flavourful and sufficiently tender with bite. The tau gwa was also sufficiently soft and really tasty, with a pronounced soybean and soy sauce flavour. The salted vegetable duck soup was also well balanced and flavourful rather than really salty. One of my favourite braised duck now.
