Pin Sheng Chicken Rice at Bukit Merah Central

Recommended by 8 Days and many others, helmed by an ex-Boon Tong Kee head chef with a 20 minute queue at opening. The rice was grainy, moist and really fragrant of chicken oils. The chicken was also moist, tender, with a fresh and fragrant chicken flavour lifted by the sesame oil, and qq gelatinous skin. Both the rice and chicken were good enough to eat on their own, although the chilli was also nice, sweet, sour and spicy. The braised cabbage was soft and fully braised, and tau gwa quite soft and porous. Outstanding chicken rice.
