This was one of the most famous bak kut teh here. There were a few waiting outside just before the shop opened in the evening, and the shop was dull within minutes of opening, with the crowd descending like locusts. The queue formed outside thereafter.
The broth had a strong soya sauce and moderately herbal flavour. 甘甜. The pork ribs were tender and sweet, tau pok spongy with good soya bean flavour, and 油饭 fragrant of good 油葱酥. Classic.
