Chia Keng Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle at Serangoon Garden

A bloody 50 minute wait was what it took… But the prawn stock was very very flavourful, and had a lot of depth, which was infused into the noodles with the wok hei. The noodles were sticky, gooey, eggy and soft, and slid down the throat easily. Even the prawns and sotong were substantial and fresh. The sweet and quite spicy chilli really added another dimension to the noodles when mixed in. I couldn’t stop eating – one of the best Hokkien Mee around. No wonder there was such a long wait…
