The rice was really nice and fluffy, slightly moist without being clumpy, with a slight coconut fragrance. The chilli was less spicy and more sweet and aromatic. The crispy bits on top – I think serunding – added a a good savoury flavour and texture. The chicken drumstick was of the flavourful Malay style – coated with spices such as lemongrass and ginger and aromatic, fragrant and salty – much like the one at The Coconut Club. What was amazing was how perfectly the chicken drumstick was fried, crispy outside and perfectly cooked and moist and juicy inside. 8/10.
