Soon Heng Fish Ball Noodle at West Coast

Quite a manageable fifteen minute queue, although the queue suddenly grew much longer behind me after I joined it. The noodles had a grown up spicy, savoury and lardy flavour, with nice crispy pork lard. The fishballs were clearly handmade with irregular shapes and sizes, and were quite springy with a more subtle fish flavour. The clear soup was nice and comforting. I preferred the Bukit Batok Thye Hong Fishball Noodle that I had recently though, for the stronger fish flavour in the fishballs, and the sweeter flavour of the noodles.
